Matt finish lacquer is the ultimate in protection for your painted surfaces, which an also be used as a stain-block.

Easy to apply using a brush or roller, Extreme Lacquer is ideal for items which will get used more robustly, such as coffee tables, and it will give a fully-washable, sealed surface.
Extreme Lacquer should be used in areas of high moisture, such as kitchens and bathrooms, or for exterior use. As well as being applied to paint it can also cover natural wood to give protection.

Having painted my hallway using Farrow & Ball Estate Emulsion Oval Room Blue No.85 there were horizontal shiny stripes appearing where clothing and people's shoulders were brushing the paint when walking through to the kitchen and it looked naff.
I decided to re-emulsion the wall before applying 2 coats of the Matt Lacquer, don't know if this was necessary but did it just to be sure the surface was even.
Used brush to cut in and sponge roller to apply. A bit streaky with one coat, evened out with second. Allowed plenty of time before reapplying.
Did test patch with brush, top, and roller underneath on wall behind a mirror, roller gave a smoother even coverage. Yes there is a slight sheen.
I'm happy with the result and I hope my review helps others decide.
This product produced a perfect finish.
