Less than 0.005kg/L VOCs. Our paints are 0% added VOCs and are the lowest possible VOC rating, as well as exceeding all industry emissions regulations for the UK and EU limits.
Our commitment to sustainability runs through every aspect of our business! Rest assured, all our tins, delivery boxes, carton pulp, labels, delivery bags, and packaging chippings are either fully recyclable or crafted from recycled materials.
Our commitment at Vintro to being vegan friendly and cruelty-free extends beyond our product formulations. We also ensure that none of our ingredients or processes involve any substances which are harmful to animals, and we do NOT conduct any testing on animals at any stage of production.

Water-based paints, use water as the primary solvent instead of traditional solvents such as mineral spirits. They dry faster, have lower levels of volatile organic compounds (VOCs), and in most cases offer an easier clean up with water. They're versatile, suitable for various surfaces, and come in different finishes, making them an eco-friendly, as well as practical choice for many painting projects.
Most paint companies out there mass produce paint batches which sit in stores or warehouses. Paint which is left for longer periods of time is either pushed to the back forever, or completely wasted and thrown away. We completely avoid this by producing paint for each order we receive and send it straight to your door through our Carbon Neutral delivery partners.
This cuts out any wastage of less popular colours and avoids over manufacturing.

Whilst we make paint for each order, sometimes, like all companies, we do get returns and damages. This is usually a major problem for most companies... not us. We gather this paint together and rework it to mix it together to formulate unique, special edition colours which we then sell on at a discounted price through our Refresh tins.
Through these methods, we cut our actual paint waste down as low as physically possible.
